ELEPHANT JUNGLE TREKKING
We come from an elephant village, Satuk Distric Burirum Province-North East of Thailand. This land is Thailand oldest civilization regarding ancient remains and elephant culture. Thailand equivalent to Angkor Wat Phanom Rung, lies here. Not so long time ago the elephants were used to transport produce from village to village and food for them was abundant. Being a slow process, the elephant have now been replaced by care and roads and the land use for razing has been cleared. With the survival and happiness of the elephant in jeopardy the decision was reluctantly made that a new home must be found. We want children to be able to see the elephant in their natural habitat. The jungle environment on Koh Chang offers that. As a tourist, interested in elephant, we are proud to be a member of friends of the Asia elephant (FAE) assisting this endangered species in many ways.

I’m elephant. Thai people called me “Chang” this word means elephant. So it’s same appropriate to try elephant trekking on elephant island. My name is Chang Chutiman operate economical and popular elephant trekking to interior of the island from Klong Prao Village.
